I am always amazed when people come up with creative ways to get them selves out of a bad situation. But I was taken back when I read about this group of 4 wheelers and somebody got a hole in their gas tank. They had to tow the vehicle of the trail and get a tow truck to get it home. Well I have a fix for this problem. If you are out by your self you have to find a solution to get you home.

Here it is get a fresh tree branch and cut a point make sure the branch is larger than the hole and shove it in. The gas will make the branch swell and plug the leak. DO NOT USE A LONG BRANCH as it will damage you sending unit if located near the unit. take a look first and make sure where you are shoving it.
